First thing first
Hi, my dearest reader. Sorry for came back this late, well eventually I'll try to be more active in this blog.
Lately, I've been working as a system analyst, system developer, and data analyst in a certain private school. And then, doing a part-time job as a trainer, yes, a trainer... A Coding Trainer.
Who are my students?
There is a variety wide range of ages. The youngest one is 8 years old, and the oldest one is about 15 years old. And lately, more people were older than them asking me what if they want to start to learn to code. And, of course, better be late than nothing.
The IG Live Interview
Then a couple weeks ago, an acquaintance of mine asked me to join her and her friends programme as a interviewees at their school's Live on Instagram. And, of course, I agree to give them a hand.
The Topic
They have chosen coding as their main topic of the interview. And then we agree to use "Coding, the earlier the better!" as our programme's title.
The Day Before
Well, of course before the main event, we've gone through a rehearsal in another account. And it's going very well. We conclude some of the questions will be asked later on and having an ice-breaking talk between me and the MC. This going smoothly, with the hope that it will be the same in the main event.
The Main Event's Day
In the early morning, we've got information from the network team that a fiber optic cable has been damaged, so the International connection in some of ISP will be affected. Well, fingers crossed that we make it through.
And so... at the event, actually it's rather smooth, just some of the connection problems, so my voice won't reach the audiences. But, on the contrary, our conversation (between me and the MC) just going smoothly without any voice error.
So, it seems, when joining the other's IG Live, the schema was like this.
The Main Account using a video call to the guess account, and then the video call's session re-broadcasted into the Main Account IG Live. And the main account eventually getting some network error because of the ISP being affected by the damaged fiber optic cable.
Conclusions
The Event has been categorized as a success, and so we're very happy to share our thought about the future of our kiddos.
Well, stay tuned for the next post. I'll write it down why Coding is the earlier the better.
P.S.: You can also watch the video-on-demand here (of course it's on Bahasa)
Stay Safe and Wear Mask.
Best regards,
Theodorus V.
